Your Hosts, Irwin & Jacqui Spector:

Jacqui is a college professor with a PhD in Biology, and Irwin has retired after over thirty years working for a brokerage firm on Wall Street.

They've been vacationing on Bonaire since 1980, and have fallen in love with the island and the Bonairean people.

When diving one day many years ago, they were speaking with a fellow-diver on the dive boat, who told them about Sand Dollar. On the last day of that visit, Irwin and Jacqui decided to visit the property, were immediately enchanted with it, and left a deposit without reading any documents. According to them, they have never regretted that rather hasty decision!

So, from 1989 to today, they have owned their second home on their adopted island of Bonaire. They work very diligently to keep the condo up-to-date with appliances and furniture, as they want their guests to feel comfortable and right at home.
