Bonaire's Restaurants:
Should you decide not to cook, there are many excellent restaurants on the island offering local fare, American, Dutch, Italian, Indonesian, and International cuisine. There are also many spots where tasty take-out is available. Here's a few of our personal favorites, but a comprehensive list of restaurants is in the condo for your review.
• Bobbejan's is a simple, but good, barbecue place and it's great for take-out. However, it's only open on Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays.
• Patagonia Argentinean Restaurant is located on Kaya Gobernador N. Debrot #67—just make right at the Sand Dollar entrance, go halfway around the circle, pass the marina, and you are there! Phone 717-7725 for reservations.
• Paradise Moon is Bonaire's newest restaurant serving an international menu with lots of favorite dishes from the owners' previous restaurant, Papaya Moon Cantina. They're serving excellent food with a large menu. Phone 717-5025 for reservations.
• Mona Lisa, on the main street in Kralendijk, is open Monday through Friday, call 717-8718 for reservations.
• Donna & Georgio's serves very good Italian food, it's located on the southern end of the oceanfront promenade. Phone 717-3799 for reservations.
• Rum Runners at Captain Don's Habitat has simple cuisine and a great variety of pizzas. Phone 717-8290 for reservations or to order pizzas to go.
• We can go on and on--additional favorites are Richard's, Sunset Bar & Grill, Casablanca, Lions Den, City Café, and yes! There is even a KFC (Kentucky Fried Chicken) on the island!
