About Sand Dollar and Our Condo:
Sand Dollar Condominium Resort is a fully furnished condo/hotel offering daily maid service, a pool, two tennis courts, and two restaurants (Eddy's offers breakfast, lunch, and dinner, and the ocean-front Sunset Bar & Grill offers lunch and dinner).
On site there is also a fully equipped dive store offering daily boat trips, basic and advanced certifications with Nitrox/air, and various excursions such as cave explorations, kayaking tours, snorkeling trips, and much more. All you need do is check the daily bulletin board to see what is happening! Bike rentals are also available.
A fully equipped photo shop is available for lessons, rental of the latest equipment, repair service, development of slides, CDs, DVDs, and other digital photographic services.
Our unit is fully equipped with dishes, glasses, pots and pans, silverware, modern appliances, and much more. It is a studio unit (F-3) overlooking the ocean. It is air-conditioned, and has a fold-away Murphy Bed with a firm mattress that allows full living room space, a library, a porch with tables and chairs, and our garden of local flowers and plants, cable television, DVD player, and a radio/tape/CD unit. Also, for the safety of your belongings, there is a safe located in the unit which allows you to set your own private code.
The check-in office is located at the front entrance of the property and will provide you with the keys to our unit and any necessary information about Sand Dollar or Bonaire.
All electrical outlets in our unit are American-style, but please be aware that the local current is 127 volts, 50 cycles, and fluctuations do occur. Electric clocks may run slowly, and the charging of batteries or strobes should be done in the photo shop.
Instructions for using the air-conditioner or appliances are located on the counter in our unit, plus there are maps and brochures for shopping, car rentals, activities, emergency numbers, airline telephone numbers, and an island-wide telephone directory.
